Cinco de Mayo is a holiday that commemorates the Mexican army’s victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. It is often celebrated in Mexico and the United States with parades, festivals and events. These family favorite recipes are a spin on some of the classic Mexican dishes!

  1. I’ve always used Roma tomatoes for Pico de Gallo. By using sweet cherry tomatoes it makes a big difference. 100% 💜💯

  2. I would choose Italian seasoning. It is so universal across and around the world. It’s used from Italian cooking, to French Food, Spanish, Asian, South American, you name they use it.
