Loaded nachos are serious business in this house…SERIOUSLY DELICIOUS!! Each chips is loaded with flavor and cheesy goodness!
Warm crispy chips, stacked with tender pork, chicken or steak and melted cheese, these nachos are excellent for gameday, a light dinner or party snack! A drizzle of queso blanco dip on top is the icing cake!
The great thing about nachos is the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It’s an appetizer or meal that you can get creative with and have fun making with your friends or family!

What You’ll Need
- Tortilla Chips
- Pork, Chicken or Steak (see recipes below)
- Cheddar and Monterey Jack Cheeses
- Queso Blanco Dip
- Your Favorite Nacho Toppings
Tools You’ll Need
- Crockpot (if making pork or chicken)
- Baking Dish or Sheet Pan
How to Make This Recipe
- While the oven preheats to 350°F, create those magical nacho layers. The most important element of seriously delicious nachos is even coverage of toppings. The last thing you want to do is pick up a naked chip! On a sheet pan or baking dish layer your nachos in this order:
- Half of the Chips
- Half of Both Cheeses
- Half of the Meat
- Remaining Chips
- Remaining Cheddar
- Remaining Meat
- Remaining Monterey Jack
- Insert optional layers as desired, and ensure you end the layers with cheese.
- Bake 20-30 minutes or until the chips are toasted and cheese melted.
- Carefully remove the tasty nachos from the oven and drizzle on warmed queso blanco dip! Serve your favorite nacho toppings on the side or garnish on top.
Tips and Substitutions
- The protein recipes noted below are excellent to repurpose for leftovers another night!
- Queso blanco dip is intended to elevate the cheesiness and flavor of these nachos. I recommend a thicker cut chip because if you use thin tortilla chips, the dip can make the chips too soggy.
