Pro Tips and Substitutions:

  • Soften the Cream Cheese. Leave it at room temperature for 30 minutes to an hour before mixing for easier blending.
  • Chill before serving. Letting the dip sit in the fridge enhances the flavors even more!
  • Swap out the Cream Cheese. Use Greek yogurt or vegan cream cheese for a dairy-free alternative.
  • Pineapple Cream Cheese Fruit Dip. To make this 2 ingredient dip more like a pineapple fruit dip, in a medium bowl blend a 7 ounce jar of marshmallow fluff or 4-6 ounces cool whip with 8 ounces cream cheese. Once smooth, blend in 1/2 cup of the roasted pineapple habanero sauce.
  • Make it a Hawaiian Dip. Add a stronger tropical twist by adding coconut and more crushed pineapple (drained) to the mixture. It has amazing flavor!
  • Change up the Dippers. Switch up the dippers with veggie sticks, tortilla chips, or even cinnamon sugar pita chips for a sweet twist.

How to Use Pineapple Cream Cheese Dip

Besides using it as a dip with savory ingredients like crackers, chips, your favorite fruits, and regular or flavored pretzels like these honey mustard hard pretzels, it’s also excellent as a spread! Add it to a fun charcuterie board, on a crudité platter full of veggies, or spread of fresh fruit!

For a delicious breakfast or brunch option, spread it on bagels, toast, or English muffins. Incorporate it into desserts by swirling it into cheesecake, dessert toppings, or even using it as a frosting on cakes or cupcakes. It’s also amazing as a spread for sandwiches or wraps!

Storage

Store any leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. The dip might thicken slightly as it chills, so give it a good stir before serving again.

  1. This sounded good. I was going to make it until I found the cheapest Roasted Pineapple Habanero Sauce was $19398 at Walmart. Had to pass too expensive for a dip I may or may not like. If there are less expensive substitutes I might be ,more inclind to give it a try.
