    Halfway To Nashville Hot Chicken

Nashville chicken has become super popular across the country. It’s got a major kick and is delicious! It typically will have a hefty dose of spices and drizzled or doused with hot sauce. This recipe is halfway there. It’s crispy/oven baked and has a slight kick. You can adjust the heat to your taste preference.

    • 2-2 ½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
    • Olive Oil spray
    • 3 tablespoon mayonnaise
    • 1 cup panko
    • 2 teaspoon all-purpose seasoning
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
    • Hot Honey or Hot Sauce to taste

    Instructions

    • Preheat the oven to 425°F.
    • In a shallow dish, whisk together panko, 1 teaspoon garlic all-purpose seasoning, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Sprinkle chicken on both sides with remaining 1 teaspoon garlic all-purpose seasoning. On one side of the chicken, brush with 1 teaspoon mayonnaise on each cutlet. Dip each mayonnaise brushed side cutlet into the crumb mixture, pressing firmly, and lay on a non-stick sprayed sheet pan.
    • Bake 15 minutes then broil on high 1-2 minutes or until the crust has browned. Ensure the chicken has an internal temperature of 165. Drizzle with Hot Honey or Hot Sauce.
