- 8 sandwich slice pickles
- 1 1/2 cups Borden Cheese shredded triple cheddar cheese or sharp cheddar cheese
- 1-2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 3-4 slices cooked thick bacon
- 4-6 slices deli turkey
- 4-6 slices deli ham
- 1 small tomato sliced
- 3 green leaf, romaine or iceberg lettuce leaves
- 1/8 cup sliced red onion
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Place the pickle slices between 2 paper towels. Pat gently until they're dry.
On a parchment-lined baking sheet, working with half of the cheese, create 2 separate rectangles that will both match the size of 4 sandwich pickle slices (see picture for reference). Add the pickle slices on top of each rectangle. Evenly sprinkle on top of the pickle slices the remaining shredded cheese.
Bake 20-24 minutes until crispy and golden around the edges. Once finished, remove from the oven. Carefully and gently pat any excess grease from the top. Cool 10 minutes.
Carefully transfer one baked cheese crust onto a cutting board. Top with your desired amounts of mayonnaise, bacon, ham, turkey, tomato, lettuce, and red onion. Add the second baked cheese crust to the top.
Slice and enjoy immediately!
