Recipe Tips and Substitutions
-
- Along with apple butter, other excellent spreads for these sliders are cranberry sauce or a mixture of equal parts apricot jam and mayonnaise!
- Any variety of mustard works with these sliders. We also love making these with stone ground, yellow or spicy mustard.
- Achieving even apple slices can be done with a knife or with a mandolin.
Storage:
Store leftover Fall Turkey Sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days. Reheat in the microwave or toaster oven for a few minutes until warmed through.
We don't recommend freezing turkey sliders as it will compromise their texture.
