- 15.25 ounce box white cake mix divided
- 2 21- ounce cans strawberry pie filling
- 8 ounce cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup salted butter melted
- Garnish options: dusting of powdered sugar, fresh strawberries, ice cream, whipped cream, or fresh mint
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Evenly sprinkle half of the dry cake mix over the top of the strawberry layer.
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Dollop over the strawberry filling in small spoonfuls.
