Notes

Storage:
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop until warmed through for a couple of minutes.
This copycat chicken noodle soup also freezes well for up to 2 months. Simply thaw it overnight in the fridge and reheat according to the instructions above.
You can easily make this ahead of time also, just don't add the egg noodles until you are ready to serve.

Tips

  • Make sure you soften the vegetables, but don't brown them. You just want to help release their flavors into the base of the soup.
  • Add chicken broth and bouillon for an extra flavorful broth. By adding both you are really boosting the flavor in each sip.
  • Seasonings to add. Enhance chicken noodle soup with classic herbs like
thyme, rosemary, sage, and parsley. For added depth and brightness, incorporate bay leaves, black pepper, or turmeric for color.
  • A great recipe for leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken. Dice or shred the chicken with you hand mixer for ease to keep the prep time of this Chick-fil-A chicken noodle soup to less than 10 minutes!
  • Add other veggies. You can easily customize by adding other vegetables like corn, baby spinach, bell pepper, and more!
