Notes

Storage:
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven, toast oven, or microwave for a couple of minutes until warmed through.
We don't recommend freezing the leftovers, since the Texas Toast was frozen to begin with, this would change the texture.
Tips:
  • Great as a weeknight dinner or for entertaining. We love to set up a toppings for so everyone can make their own individual pizza. It's fun for the whole family!
  • Grate your mozzarella from the block. This makes it extra gooey and cheesy since there's no starch coating the cheese like on pre-shredded mozzarella.
  • Bake the Texas Toast by itself first and then top with sauce and toppings and bake again. We like doing this to make sure the toast isn't soggy underneath.
