- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 11 ounce tub Palmetto Cheese Homestyle Pimento Cheese
- 1/2 cup salad dressing or mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup dill or sweet relish
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1-2 tablespoons milk as needed
- sugar, salt, black pepper amount as desired
Cook elbow macaroni in boiling salted water per package directions. Drain in a colander and rinse with cool water.
In a large bowl, combine Palmetto Cheese Homestyle Pimento Cheese, mayonnaise or salad dressing, relish, and green onions. Mix until combined well.
Fold the cooled pasta into the mixture. Add milk to desired pasta salad consistency.
Taste and add sugar, salt, and/or black pepper as desired.
Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. Stir before serving, as the dressing may thicken when chilled. Add a splash of milk if needed to refresh the creamy texture. I don't recommend freezing due to the creamy base.
