Easy Cheesy Potatoes

- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 cups peeled and thinly sliced russet potatoes about 4-5 small potatoes
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 1/2-1 tsp all-purpose seasoning salt or salt and black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp plain or seasoned bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place butter in a 7x11 inch or similar size baking dish and place in the oven. Once melted, remove from the oven, and to the pan, add potatoes, heavy cream, seasoning and 1/2 cup of the cheese. Toss until coated well.
Sprinkle on top the remaining cheese and bread crumbs. Bake 50-60 minutes or until the top has browned and potatoes can easily be pierced with a fork.
