Cheesy Barbecue Pork Dip

No better way to be Game Day ready than this incredible dip! Layered with pulled pork, Palmetto Cheese, spices and cheeses, it’ll be TOUCHDOWN for sure!

Ingredients
 

  • 8 oz regular or ⅓-less fat cream cheese softened
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 16 oz seasoned and cooked pulled pork store-bought or homemade
  • 11 oz Palmento Pimento Cheese
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sliced green onion tops
  • Dippers: tortilla chips and fresh vegetables

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. 
  • Using a hand mixer or spatula, mix together cream cheese, garlic powder, salt and ½ cup of the cheddar cheese. Once combined, spread in an even layer in a 2 quart baking dish or cast iron skillet. 
  • Top evenly with pulled pork. Spread Palmetto Cheese in an even layer on top. Lastly, sprinkle with the remaining cheddar cheese. 
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is toasted and bubbling at the edges. 
  • Garnish with a drizzle of barbecue sauce and green onions. Serve with tortilla chips and fresh veggies for dipping.
