Ingredients
¼cupbutter
4cupspeeled and thinly sliced russet potatoesabout 4-5 small potatoes
2tablespoonheavy cream
½-1teaspoonall-purpose seasoning salt or salt and black pepper
2cupsshredded cheddar cheese
2tablespoonplain or seasoned bread crumbs
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place butter in a 7x11 inch or similar size baking dish and place in the oven. Once melted, remove from the oven, and to the pan, add potatoes, heavy cream, seasoning and ½ cup of the cheese. Toss until coated well.
Sprinkle on top the remaining cheese and bread crumbs. Bake 50-60 minutes or until the top has browned and potatoes can easily be pierced with a fork.
