Ingredients
Oatmeal
½cupoil
½cupsugar
2eggslightly beaten
1cupmilk
3cupsold-fashioned rolled oats
½tablespoonbaking powder
½teaspoonsalt
Vanilla Cinnamon Cream
2cupsmilk
½teaspooncinnamon
½teaspoonnutmeg
½teaspoonvanilla
2tablespoonsugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
In a medium bowl, whisk together oil, sugar, eggs, and milk. In a small bowl combine oats, baking powder, and salt. Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients. If adding fruit fold in mixture.
Pour in a non-stick 8”x8” pan. Bake 40 minutes.
Meanwhile, for cream, in a small saucepan over low heat whisk together milk, spices, vanilla, and sugar. Dish up oatmeal in a small individual bowls and pour cream on top.
