Ingredients
4cupsfresh broccoli florets
4ozsliced mushrooms
3garlic clovesthinly sliced
¼cupolive oil
½-1teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonblack pepper
½-1teaspooncrushed red pepper flakesoptional
Instructions
Heat 3 tablespoon of the oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add broccoli and mushrooms, toss to coat, and cook 3 minutes or until the broccoli is vibrant green.
Add garlic, red pepper flakes, salt. pepper and remaining oil. Cook 1 minute.
Add ½ cup water and bring to a simmer. Cover with a lid and cook 4 minutes.
Uncover and cook until all the liquid has evaporated, about 1-2 minutes.
