This One Pan Pasta effortlessly combines your favorite Italian flavors in one pot in less than 30 minutes. It can be paired with nearly any cooked protein!

Ingredients
 

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup water
  • 12 ounces spaghetti or linguini
  • 12 ounces cherry or grape tomatoes halved
  • 2 cups thinly sliced onion about 1 large
  • 4-6 garlic cloves thinly sliced
  • ½-1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ½ cup sliced fresh basil plus more for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil plus more for garnish
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Optional Addition: Freshly Grated Parmesan and a Cooked Protein

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a large skillet. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  • Stir and fold the mixture frequently until pasta is al dente and liquid has nearly evaporated, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings to preference. Serve garnished with fresh basil, a drizzle of olive oil, and/or shredded Parmesan cheese. Top with a cooked protein if desired.
