Pizza Pop Tarts

Ingredients
 

  • 1 8.6- ounce sheet puff pastry
  • 6 tablespoons pizza sauce
  • 6 tablespoons shedded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons garlic butter
  • 6 Pure Flavor® Juno® Bites Red Grape Tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. 
  • Cut the puff pastry sheet into six even rectangles.
  • On 3 of the rectangles, spoon 2 tablespoons pizza sauce in the center. Spread to within ¼-inch of the edge. Top each with 2 tablespoons mozzarella cheese, 1 tablespoon snipped basil, and 6 tomato slices. 
  • Place the reserved rectangles on top of the filling. Seal the edges with a fork.
  • Brush a thin layer of garlic butter on a sheet pan. Transfer the prepared tarts to the sheet pan. Brush the tops of the tarts with the remaining garlic butter.
  • Lay 5 tomato slices on each pocket and sprinkle evenly with Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is flaky and golden brown.
