TikTok Emily Mariko’s Salmon & Rice Bowl

For the last few weeks, it seems like every other TikTok is a remake of Emily Mariko’s Salmon & Rice Bowl. To be honest, it TOTALLY lived up to it’s hype. It’s basically a deconstructed sushi roll, and it’s basically delicious!

Ingredients

  • Olive or Avocado Oil
  • Salmon Filets
  • Salt/Pepper
  • Cooked Rice
  • Kewpie Mayonnaise
  • Sriracha
  • Soy Sauce or Tamari
  • Avocado
  • Cucumber
  • Seaweed Sheets
  • Recipe

    Heat oil a skillet on medium-high heat. Season salmon with salt and pepper. Sear 4 minutes skin-side, 4 on the flesh-side, and finish off on the skin-side 4 minutes or until the salmon has an internal temperature of 145°F. Remove form the pan and pull off the skin. To your individual bowl, add rice, salmon, mayonnaise, sriracha and soy sauce. Using a fork, break apart the salmon and mix the ingredients to your desired consistency. Top with sliced avocado, cucumber and sesame seeds. Use the seaweed sheets to gather up your delicious bite!
