Sheet Pan Steak Night

It might not have that cast iron or grill sear, but it’s a tasty and easy alternative way to prep steak. Who knew you could have a steak night with some yummy sides with just one pan in the oven!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb New York strip steak, cut into 1” cubes
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar or Swerve
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger or 1/4 tsp ground
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups halved baby potatoes
  • 8 oz mushrooms, quarters
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Seasoning, optional
  • Salt/Pepper
  • Recipe

Preheat the oven to 450°F. Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and crushed red pepper. Add the cubed steak and set aside. To the prepared sheet pan, add the potatoes, broccoli, and mushrooms. Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and spread evenly on the pan. Bake 15 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and scoot the veggies over to allow room for 1 layer of the steak. Return to the oven and bake an additional 12-16 minutes, or to preferred steak doneness and veggies are tender.
