My mom makes these every Christmas morning. If these are on any buffet of appetizers, I’m “that person” who takes more than they should….like tots in Napoleon Dynamites pocket. My family loves Jimmy Dean Hot Sausage in this recipe and dipping them in mustard. If you don’t have Palmetto available, you can substitute with another creamy pimento cheese.

I made these around Christmas time and they were amazing!! I have always made sausage balls and had even used cheese whiz type cheese before but never tried it with Palmetto cheese until now!! It’s a total game changer!!! The entire family loved them!!
YAY!!! I love that! It’s been by far the most popular recipe since Dinner in 3, 2, 1 started…and I LOVE IT! So happy you liked the palmetto twist on the classic!!
These sausage balls are amazing! When I make these for my husband and me we bake 1/2 of the mixture then freeze the other 1/2 of the sausage balls to bake at another time.
Love freezing them! Great idea as it is one less thing to do during final prep time. So happy you like them!!!
