Fruit Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Method:
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 cups fruit
  • 30-40 minutes
  • 1 ½ Cup Method:
  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 6 tbsp butter, melted
  • 3 cups fruit
  • 40-50 minutes
  • 2 Cup Method:
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 8 tbsp butter, melted
  • 4 cups fruit
  • 50-60 minutes

    Fruit can be fresh, frozen or canned. Don’t forget the ice cream! Preheat oven to 350ºF. Choose the cobbler size and corresponding amounts. Place melted butter in baking dish. In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, and milk. Pour into the melted butter then top with fruit. Bake per cobbler size and until the top is golden brown. Serve with ice cream! *Note: To lighten the calories and carbohydrates Swerve is an excellent sugar substitute you can bake with.
