Easy Chicken Parmesan

Here’s another Italian favorite made easy! Perfect for for those who want carbs or those going low carb!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 24oz jar marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan, divided
  • 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Optional: serve with additional marinara
  • sauce over pasta, zoodles, or as is

    Preheat the oven to 350°F. To a medium baking dish, stir and combine the chicken, marinara sauce, 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese, and 1/4 cup of the Parmesan. Spread in an even layer, then top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan. In a small bowl, combine the panko, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and melted butter. Sprinkle evenly on top of the cheese. Bake uncovered 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Serve as is or over noodles with additional marinara sauce and garlic bread.
