Creamy Tomato Sausage Gnocchi

This is a one bowl dinner wonder! You can customize with potato or cauliflower gnocchi and Italian or chicken apple sausage. Either way, it’s absolutely fantastic!

Ingredients

  • 10oz potato or cauliflower gnocchi
  • 12oz chicken apple sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 32 marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream or half & half
  • Garnish options: grated Parmesan, fresh
  • basil, toasted bread
  • Recipe

    Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add gnocchi to the boiling water, cook for 2 minutes, then drain well. To a large skillet on medium-high heat, sear sausage slices on one side for 3 minutes, flip, add olive oil to the skillet, and add drained gnocchi. Sear the gnocchi and sausage for 3 minutes, flipping the gnocchi occasionally. Add the marinara sauce, turn heat to low, and simmer 10 minutes. Fold the cream into the sauce/sausage mixture, ladle into individual bowls, and garnish as desired.
