Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Be ready to sop up all this dreamy garlic parmesan sauce with every bite of chicken! Oh man, it’s amazing!!

Ingredients

  • Chicken:
  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2-2 1/2lb bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (about 8)
  • 3 tbsp seasoning of choice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Cream Sauce:
  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 5 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
    salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

    Preheat oven to 375ºF. Season chicken with your preferred seasoning, salt, and pepper on both sides. Add oil to a large skillet over medium–high heat. Cook chicken skin-side down 5 minutes, flip, cook 4 minutes, flip and cook 4 more minutes skin-side. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. Prep cream sauce in the same skillet. Turn the heat to medium, and whisk in flour, cooking 1 minute. Add garlic, and cook an additional minute. Whisk in chicken broth, then gradually whisk in heavy cream and milk. Once the mixture comes to a light simmer, add Parmesan and season with salt and pepper to taste. Return chicken to the skillet, coating with the sauce, and bake 20-30 minutes or until chicken reaches 165ºF. Garnish with parmesan cheese.
