Chocolate Bundt Cake

This is a copycat version of a popular bakery that houses many decadent bundt cake flavors. This at-home version is unbelievably scrumptious!

Ingredients

  • 15.25 oz chocolate cake mix
  • 3.9 oz instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • Cream Cheese Frosting:
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease a bundt cake pan. In a medium bowl, combine cake ingredients and mix until blended. Pour evenly into the prepared pan, and bake for 45-50 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes, then invert the cake onto a cake plate. Allow the cake to cool before frosting. For the icing, blend the cream cheese and butter. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, and mix until smooth. Fill a pastry or Ziploc bag and cut off the corner. From the outside in, squeeze and pull a line of frosting up and over the cake, into the center hole. Repeat around the whole cake. Slice & enjoy!
