Chicken Lettuce Wraps

This is a copycat recipe of one of PF Chang’s most popular appetizers! It’s absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1lb ground chicken
  • 1 white onion, finely diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2-1 tbsp Sriracha
  • 8oz water chestnuts, drained and diced
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Asian Seasoning or Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 head iceberg or mini romaine lettuce
  • Recipe

    Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken, crumble, and cook until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Stir in onion, garlic, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, ginger, sesame oil, sugar, and Sriracha. Stir and cook until onions are translucent, about 2 minutes. Add the water chestnuts, green onions, and seasoning, cooking an additional minute. Spoon the chicken filling into the center of the lettuce leaves and enjoy.
