Asian Marinated Steak

This marinated steak is for the ginger and garlic lovers out there! Reinventing flavors helps keep meals new and exciting! Ribeye, New York strip, filet, skirt…any steak would be delicious in this marinade!😃⠀

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup cooking sherry
  • 3 tbsp honey⠀
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp minced ginger or 1/2 tsp ground
  • 3-5 garlic cloves, minced⠀
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper⠀
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2-2 1/2 lb whole flank steak or preferred steak⠀
  • Recipe

    Combine all marinade ingredients and shake or whisk until well combined. Place the steak in the marinade in a gallon Ziploc bag or shallow dish. Marinate of 6-12 hours. ⠀ ⠀ When ready to cook, remove the steak from the marinade and salt and pepper both sides. Heat a pan or grill on high. Drizzle with ghee, avocado oil, or butter. Once hot, cook 5-10 minutes per side. Use a meat thermometer to determine if it’s to your preferred doneness. Slice the steak against the grain. Serve with your favorite rice or noodles and stir-fry veggies.⠀
