Apple Ham and Swiss

The #1 seller at my restaurant was this delicious, savory, sweet sandwich! It kept the customers coming back for more!

Ingredients

  • Deli Ham (We used a savory/salty ham like Boar’s Head Deluxe…not a sweet ham
  • Swiss Cheese Slices
  • Granny Smith Apple, thinly sliced
  • Honey Mustard
  • Mayonnaise
  • Hearty Wheat Bread Slices
  • Butter, room temperature
  • Recipe

    Stir together equal parts honey mustard and mayo based on the number of sandwiches you’re making. On a panini press or grill pan, build your sandwich: buttered bread slice down, 1 Swiss cheese slice, 3-4oz ham, 2-4 slices apple, 1 Swiss slice and final bread slice with 1-2 tbsp honey mustard/mayo spread on the side going onto the sandwich and buttered on the outside. Press and grill until the meat is heated through, cheese is melted, and bread toasted.
