I put boneless ribs in the crockpot this morning with onions and carrots; I didn't have potatoes on hand but will add a can of diced potatoes at the end. As I was googling my "said recipe " to make sure I did it correctly, I came across yours and happy & satisfied that it's similar which made me feel better 😊. I enjoy watching your videos on Facebook, easy to follow and understand. You're a doll!

Hi Olivia! Yes, a dutch oven works as well. Cook at 350 degrees for one hour.
Lower the oven temperature to 300 degrees and cook for one more hour. Check for tenderness with 2 forks and add more time if they don’t fall apart easily. I hope you love them!

Hello! This recipe looks divine and I will be attempting my hand at it tonight. I was wondering, though I don’t have a crockpot. I do have a large Dutch oven though. Do you think this is something that could be achieved in a Dutch oven using the oven? I guess I’ll let you know if I try it before I hear from you. Thank you for the delicious recipe. It looks amazing.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. Nowhere in my post do I specifically say that diabetics have to have potatoes with these ribs; I simply offer a recipe that can be adjusted. The decision of what to include in a recipe and meal is personal and depends on individual preferences and dietary needs. Adjust if needed. If you'd like to discuss your health convictions about potatoes/carbs, I encourage you to reach out to the ADA for more information.

I am a diabetic (no meds just eat strict keto with normal BS numbers) and while I love your recipe with the ribs I don't understand why you are recommending white potatoes to those with insulin issues. Potatoes are high in carbs and are not a great choice. I really wish the ADA food guide would stop recommending high carb foods to those with type 2 and do more thorough research into keto/carnivore benefits to putting diabetes into remission.

Seasoned salt you can buy in the spice aisle @ your local grocery store by LAWRYS .brand. It has been around for a very long time & is not a spicy seasoning in case you don't care for spicy food.
