That has never in my 30 years of having it EVER happened. Something must have been faulty with the products. Even eating it leftover for days (which my family does – if there are any) there’s never been a compromise in color. It sounds like mold or an organism that was not good in one of the products. One time I opened up a peanut butter jar and when I peeled back the seal, there was a whole nest and eggs inside. Let’s just say, the brand made that right IMMEDIATELY! SO sorry to hear that was your experience with this…especially since they had been sick.

I would say 1-1/2 cups chopped veggies would be great. I would do carrots, potatoes, onions and celery. A small chop for sure as well 🙂
