I made this on Easter and it was the absolute favorite dish of the entire meal! I found it easy to assemble and wow was it decadent. Many friends asked for the recipe and I was sure to share. 10/10 will make again.

I’ve never used chessman cookies and they held up so well. They were the perfect texture. I made this ahead 1 day before serving.

This was absolutely delicious! I made this the night before for Easter lunch and it was a hit! I highly recommend two packages of the chessman so you can have a layer on the bottom and top. Also our store was out of the plain, so I subbed for the salted caramel chessman, which honestly I might do again. The banana and the caramel flavor worked so well together.

The whole thing can be made ahead of time 🙂 The texture made from the day before is perfect. At 3 days ahead is when those bananas will start to brown 😉
