					<description><![CDATA[This is the first cake I made, 60+ years ago, from my Great Grandmother’s copy — mine now — of Mrs. Dull’s Southern Cooking (1928). We separated the eggs, added the yolks one at a time, and folded in stiffly beaten whites as the last step. I still have my Mom’s 2-part tube pan that we baked it in…it was too big for her 2 cake pans.]]></description>
